The Brecon Beacons is a popular fishing destination, with the revered Wye and Usk rivers, as well as the many stocked reservoirs, there is a good day's fishing within a short drive whether you are out for a few hours fun or out for a serious days fishing. River Usk

Reservoirs
There are a number of reservoirs nearby that offer day fishing permits. The nearest is the Usk which is stocked with trout and allows coarse and fly fishing.

Llangorse lake
This is a purely coarse fishing lake offering bream, roach, perch, pike and some unusually large eels. Boats are available for hire.
