We've just got back after a lovely break staying at the Castle Coaching Inn. Perfectly located for exploring the Brecon Beacons. We stayed in a deluxe room which was decorated to a high standard - spacious room and large bathroom. Breakfast and evening meals were of a high standard, with generous portions - perfect after a day of walking. Friendly landlord and bar staff.

We all reckon that your place offered excellent value. The welcome was warm and helpful, your hosting attentive, helpful without being over intrusive, the rooms clean, comfortable and warm, the bath water hot and quick, the evening meal excellent, the bar warm and friendly, with good ales and wines and whisky, and the breakfasts very enjoyable. I would recommend anybody stay when in the area. Thank you so much, it makes a refreshing change to leave somewhere thinking you got an excellent deal rather than feeling 'ripped off'.

Hi John, I am the nominated man to pass on our thanks for a lovely stay at your hotel on Saturday last. Thanks for a most relaxing stay, good grub on the Saturday evening with decent beer and a good breakfast to see us on our way. We'll be back!

Excellent Inn. The first time I was fortunate enough to stay here, I knew this is what country inns in the UK are meant to be. Absoulutely charming, with lovely and comfortable rooms. Management is flawless. Staff is superb in their desire to assist their guests. Both the Bar and Dining rooms are outstanding. Business brings me to the area frequently,and this is the only lodgings I consider.
